| North America Automotive Navigation Kit If using your Garmin 76 series GPS in a car, you need this kit. There are times when you'll want to trade the backwoods for boulevards, and you'll want to take your GPS navigator with you. Garmin makes this transition easy with the Automotive Navigation Kit designed especially for their GPSMAP 76C and 76CS electronic map units. First, you'll need a way to mount your navigator in your vehicle. The kit includes a portable friction-type mount with four weighted, bendable tabs and nonskid rubber backing that's perfect for contoured dashboards–or for rental vehicles–where you don't want to mount the unit permanently. There's also a rugged, stick-on, dashboard mounting base that will keep your GPS unit securely positioned in any vehicle. The adjustable auto mounting bracket works with either the portable or fixed dash mounts to provide the best visibility and viewing angles as well quick-release of your navigator. Both permanent and temporary adhesive pads for quick, easy, no-mess installation are included for the dashboard mounting bases. Tip: permanent means permanent. There's no turning back after the everlasting pad is in place. |
