Dual IS (Image Stabilization) Mode & High Sensitivity Dual IS (Image Stabilization) Mode Activated by a single Dual IS button, CCD shift image stabilization and high sensitivity work together to minimize blurring caused by camera shake or subject movement. In this mode, you can capture all the excitement and action in attractive, blur-free photos, even when shooting with fully extended zoom. PS (Picture Stabilization) Mode Picture Stabilization automatically adjusts shutter speed and sensitivity (up to ISO1600) to prevent blur. Used in conjunction with Dual IS Mode, Picture Stabilization minimizes blur from camera shake or subject movement, even in low-light situations. High Sensitivity With a maximum sensitivity of ISO6400, scenes shot in low light appear more true to life. And high sensitivity lets you capture impressive stop-action images, even when the subject is moving at high speeds. Intelligent Flash Intelligent Flash calculates subject position, camera distance and brightness of the scene, and automatically adjusts sensitivity and flash output to capture optimum foreground and background detail. Red-Eye Removal The FinePix S8100fd features a red-eye removal function that automatically detects and corrects unsightly red-eye reflections that often spoil flash snapshots of people. NEW: Zoom Bracketing For fail-safe portraits or active zoom snapshots, a convenient Zoom Bracketing function automatically records the same image three times with zoom ratio settings of 1×, 1.4× and 2× at a single release of the shutter. When function is activated, three frames are previewed in the viewfinder at 1×, 1.4× and 2×. In 10-megapixel mode, 1.4× frame is captured at 5M; 2× frame at 3M. Breaking The Speed Limit Continuous Shooting at High-Speed 13.5fps, Up to 33 Frames The FinePix S8100fd offers a high-speed continuous shooting mode that captures up to 13.5 frames per second in a burst, perfect for moving subjects. High-Speed Playback A new High-Speed Preview function allows you to immediately view the entire content of your memory card, making it easy to retrieve the image you want. With this function, pictures can be played back at speeds of approx. 10 frames per second. Or use it to stream a sequence shot in continuous shooting mode - it's like viewing a movie! Additional Features Micro-Thumbnail View The high-resolution LCD can display up to 100 picture images simultaneously in 10×10 array.
