Our Pricing Policy
With so many different dealers on the web today, and with the many different prices available, for even a single product, things can be very confusing and frustrating to figure out. The web is full of all sorts of dealers - from huge 'big-box' retailers taking their inventory to the web, to fly-by-night and one-man operations working out of their basements. Adding to the frustration is the fact that not everyone is trying to sell you the same product. A large number of e-tailers are selling used, open box or gray-market merchandise (overseas versions of products or products that are acquired through illegitimate or unauthorized channels). Others are advertising a product at an unbelievable price, and then placing your order on backorder status when you don't buy any of their overpriced accessory items. Why the hassle?
Here at BPAV.com, our goal is to make things as easy as possible for our customers to buy from us. We only carry genuine USA retail products, we don't play any games and we are very aggressive in pricing the products we carry and their related accessory items. We routinely scour what we know to be the legitimate dealers on the web to make sure we're consistently providing you the best delivered prices available. We also are constantly working with the manufacturers to make sure we get the latest pricing information so we can reflect any changes immediately in our prices listed on our web site.
We are confident that we are providing you the best delivered prices on the genuine USA retail products we carry, every day. We do not make money on outrageous shipping charges as some of the other low-ball priced e-tailers like to do, so while some of them may like to price themselves a few dollars less than us at any given time, they generally end up giving you a higher final total than we will after their shipping prices are factored in.
Price Matching Policy
In general, we do not match prices of the many different online dealers. This is primarily because of the reasons disclosed above. If everyone sold the exact same product, if they shipped products to you when they said they would, and if they all provided somewhat of the same level of service, that would create an environment where we would be able to consider price matching. However, that simply does not exist online at this time.
Price Changes
Price changes are central to electronics retail on the web. The more aggressive the pricing, the more frequent the price changes occur as we actively seek out new pricing information from the manufacturers. This is especially true with products such as digital cameras and camcorders, DVD players and recorders, and computer related products such as CompactFlash™ and other memory cards. At this time, we do not have a price protection guarantee and we do not offer credit for price changes that have occurred after you have received a purchase from us.
Our Return Policy
Returning Merchandise with Manufacturer's Defects:
Within 30 days of the date of shipment, you may return to us:
- Any product, which is still in its like-new condition, in the original box, and which still includes all originally included accessory items and packing materials, for exchange only. All merchandise defects will be verified by BPAV.com's returns department and must be confirmed prior to shipment of the replacement.

- TVs/Displays 20" or larger and all floor-standing home audio speakers are factory service only and cannot be returned to BPAV.com. To combat this inconvenience, we will be happy to help if you need any assistance obtaining service, or in locating a factory authorized service center near you. These products, like all of the products we sell, are fully guaranteed by the manufacturer and this warranty is included with the product.
Returning Non-Defective merchandise
Within 14 days of the date of shipment, you may return to us:
- Any unopened product, if the product's packaging is still in its like-new condition for exchange or credit.

- TVs/Displays 20" or larger and all floor-standing home audio speakers cannot be returned to BPAV.com.

Items Sold as: "Open Box" or "Refurbished"
All "Open Box" and "Refurbished" products have been tested and are in working condition before the item is available for sale. All sales of products sold as Open Box or Refurbished are final. Such products will not be accepted for replacement or refund.
All returns must meet the conditions above and must be pre-arranged through our customer service department. Returns should be pre-arranged by requesting a Return Authorization from our Return Authorization Request Form, located
here. If you have any difficulties, or need assistance, you may contact us by calling us directly at (800) 982-8273. After your request has been sent, we will review the request and, if approved, you will be assigned a Return Authorization (RA) number that will be used to manage the return/exchange process. Returned merchandise will not be accepted without having a Return Authorization Number on the outer packaging or shipping label.
Shipping charges are nonrefundable on any purchase from BPAV.com. Purchaser is responsible for shipping all merchandise back to our location for any return or exchange. If the item is defective and being returned for exchange, BPAV.com will ship any replacement merchandise to the purchaser via standard ground shipping.
Unopened items being returned for credit, which were originally shipped under a shipping promotion (such as "Free Shipping" or where the shipping costs were initially waived) will be assessed an item specific handling fee. Please contact us for details.
Returns/items that do not meet all of the conditions above may be subject to a minimum of a 15% re-stocking charge
Any products returned with missing or damaged original contents, or false claims of defect, condition or damage will be refused or assessed a minimum restocking fee of 20%, at our discretion.
Our Privacy Policy:
Our customers’ privacy is our top concern. We make every effort to protect personal and financial information and will never sell any of your information to a third party.
Security
Our web site uses SSL (secure socket layering) technology - the industry standard and safest way to send credit card and personal information over the Internet. All information sent to us is automatically encrypted and your financial information, including credit card numbers, cannot be accessed once transmitted. To ensure your security, we recommend the use of SSL-capable browsers, such as Netscape 3.0 or Internet Explorer 3.0 or higher.
E-mail and Snail Mail
As we do not share or sell personal information, you will not receive any unsolicited mailings from any third party to your e-mail or physical address by submitting them to us.
Any e-mail communication that you receive from us is CAN-SPAM compliant. If you do not wish to receive e-mails, you can indicate this during your checkout process or via the 'unsubscribe' link in all of our e-mail communications
Personal Information
All personal information collected from our customers will be used only by BPAV.com and will never be sold to a third party. Unique identifiers such as a customer number or
Sale ID
are automatically generated by our system and are tied to the order process. Billing information and financial information is used only for order and payment authorization procedures and shipping information is used only for order authorization and shipment purposes. After the order is fulfilled the order information and the customer's information remains stored in our secure database. All financial information is encrypted and not accessible by any BPAV.com associates.
Cookies
Our web site uses cookies (a small text file) to save your customer number and session information so as to enable you to add products to your shopping cart and to pull the information you have submitted from our secure database. All cookie information is encrypted for security purposes. The use of cookies also allows you to automatically log you into your account so you do not have to re-enter your password each time you visit. The cookie does not gather any information from your computer or profile your system. We do not store any personal information within our cookies.
Other Information
We do not profile our customers or our customers' systems. The only other information about our web site's visitors that we collect are the links through which our customers arrive, other session specific information (such as length of visit to our site, etc) and where our visitors click, throughout our site, during the shopping experience.

The BPAV.com web site contains links to other web sites. These other sites may operate under a completely different set of privacy policies and BPAV.com cannot be held responsible for the privacy practices or content of these external sites.
